Somebody searches for a lawyer at the worst moment of their year
Legal enquiries arrive at night, on a phone, from a person having one of the worst weeks of their life. They read three or four firms and call one. Very little of that decision is about credentials — every firm on the page is licensed and every firm claims experience. It is decided by which firm explained the reader's own situation back to them clearly enough to be trusted.
Most firm websites fail this in the same way. A practice areas page with a paragraph per area, written in the language of the profession rather than the person. No indication of cost, process or timeline. A contact form that asks for a great deal before offering anything. The reader leaves with nothing resolved and calls whoever answered their question.
The firms that win these enquiries build a page for each practice area in each city they serve, written for the person searching it, with tools that let somebody understand their position before they pick up the phone. That is what we built for Lexaltico, and it is the reference for everything else on this site.
What a build includes
A page for every practice area in every city you serve
Family law in Mississauga, employment law in Hamilton, estates in North York — each written for the person searching that exact thing.
Client-facing calculators and tools
Support estimates, entitlement calculators, timeline explainers. People use them, share them, and arrive at the call already informed.
Written within Law Society advertising rules
Ontario restricts what firms may claim. We work inside those rules by default rather than making you police the copy.
Practice-area content that answers the real question
Cost, process, timeline and what happens first — the things every caller asks and almost no firm publishes.
Lawyer profiles that read as people
The single most-visited page type on a firm website, and usually the thinnest.
Consultation booking that works at eleven at night
When most legal searching actually happens.
Enquiry tracking by practice area
So you can see which areas the site actually feeds and invest accordingly.
Structured for AI assistants
A published machine-readable firm guide — the approach we implemented in production for Lexaltico.
Why twelve weeks, not six months
Not by cutting scope. Every page on your site starts from one structured record of your real services, real coverage areas, real prices and real answers — supplied by you, approved by you. Pages, structured data and internal links generate from that record, then every page gets a human editing pass before it ships.
That is why a build of this size is measured in weeks rather than months, and it is why we can afford to give you a page for every service in every area rather than one page that tries to cover everything. It is also the reason we will not build pages for services you do not offer or areas you do not serve — pages without genuine substance are penalised across a whole domain, not just the page.
Questions we get asked
How much does a law firm website cost in Toronto?
A full platform runs $18,000 to $45,000 depending on how many practice areas and locations you cover. A two-week Recovery Sprint on your existing site is $2,500. Firms investing seriously in search spend $120,000 to $150,000 a year across all activity, so a build sits well inside a normal annual budget.
Do you understand Law Society advertising rules?
Yes. Ontario restricts claims about results, specialisation and comparative quality, and testimonial use is constrained. We write inside those rules as a default and your firm reviews everything before publication.
Why does each practice area need city pages?
Because people search locally and specifically — "divorce lawyer Mississauga", not "family law GTA". One practice area page cannot rank for every city you serve. We build pages only for cities where you genuinely practise.
What was the Lexaltico build?
A 431-page platform covering nine practice areas across four GTA offices, with client-facing calculators, complete structured data, and a published machine-readable guide so AI assistants can cite the firm accurately. It was built by our two-person studio and is live today.
How long does it take?
Eight to twelve weeks from kickoff to launch. The Lexaltico platform — 431 pages, nine practice areas, four offices — took twelve weeks.
Who writes the content?
We draft, your lawyers approve. Nothing describing law, process, outcomes or fees is published without firm sign-off — that is a professional obligation, not a preference.
Do we own the site?
Yes. Standard WordPress, documented, no lock-in.
What is AI optimisation for a law firm?
People increasingly ask an assistant to recommend a lawyer. We publish a machine-readable firm guide and structure pages so assistants can quote your practice areas, offices and availability accurately. Direct AI referrals are about one percent of web traffic today and growing quickly.

Fifteen minutes. We'll tell you where your enquiries are going.
No deck, no discovery questionnaire, no budget form. We look at your site before the call so we arrive with something specific to say — and if you don't need a rebuild, we'll tell you that too.
